In the exam I chose to write about the economic case for interventions targeting life-style choices and the effects of doing so on the efficiency and equity of a health care system. I also wrote about measurements of inequality, and what policy lessons can be drawn when studying income against health status, health care utilisation and health financing.
It was a pretty interesting course overall, though I did prefer the Health Economics class. I feel like I should do something with my course notes. Bind them? I don’t know. I just feel like they may be useful reference points later on.
Congratulations on your new job, if I haven’t said so already. I think I need to start looking for proper, serious jobs after this semester officially finishes. I feel confident enough that I’ll pass my remaining exams, and then it’s just one more semester left :S
I’m still not sure whether I’ll attend my graduation ceremony for Masters. I mean, the undergrad one was pretty dull, especially considering that my name was called in the first ten minutes, and then I had to sit in a hall for two hours, trying not to fiddle with my phone too much.
